Khajane website provides a window to state's financial status, It caters to normal treasury related transactions, which benefits citizens, Government

Departments and the Governemnt itself. It will provide MIS reports relating to the budget provisions made under various Government schemes,

Expenditure and receipt figures at different level from an individual Drawing and disbursing officer to State level.

 

2. Who is it for?


 

All who are interested in state's economic progress, watch dogs who monitor implementation of keystone programmes,

Departmental officers, Pensioners and government representatives can use Khajane Website.

 

3. What information is provided ?


 

Pensioners details, status of pensions, MIS reports, Departmental reports, reports related to expenditure and receipts,

Deposit accounts maintained in Treasuries, reports of Zilla panchayat and Taluk Panchayat Transactions through treasuries and About the

Department of Treasuries.

 

4.How can it be helpful and to whom?


 

It will help various departmental officers to assess the progress of the schemes and programmes they are responsible for, State to monitor and take

remedial steps to counter any financial adversity and take up informed decisions. It will help pensioners to know details of their pensions and Treasury

and departmental employees various rules, codal provisions and Government orders of importance.

Definitions:

 

1. Who is a DDO?

 

DDO stands for Drawing and Disbursing Officer, who is authorized to draw and disburse money from a State's Treasury 

 

2. Who is a CO?

 

A DDO who controls his sub-ordinate DDOs, and is responsible for releases to these DDOs and has to monitor their activities in accordance with the

powers delegated to him by the State Government.

 

3. Who is a CCO?

 

CCO stands for Chief Controlling Officer, He is the chief Releasing authority and mostly will be the Head of the Department and is responsible for the overall

performance of the Department he or she belongs to. 

 

4. Who is a Power User?

 

All Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries to the Government incharge of a Department at Secretariat level, They will be able to access Demand level MIS

information, when using this website. 

 

5. Who is a Super User?

 

The Chief Secretary to the Government, CM's office, Principal Secretary (Finance Department), Secreatries to the Government in The Finance departement and

 those officers who have powers to use and to access all MIS reports of State level, of all demands and departments.

 

6. What is a MIS report?

 

Management Information System reports which provide analytical financial reports to aid better monitoring and decision making at

Government level.

 

7. What is my page?

 

My page provides an individual pensioners details. 

 

8. What is SSP?

 

Social security pensions like Old age pensions, Physically handicapped pensions, Destitute widowhood pensions and Sandhya Suraksha yojana pensions. 

 

9. What is TNMC?

 

It stands for Treasury Network Management Centre, responsible for keeping all treasuries connected in the network, to perform treasury functions using Khajane

software and in facility management of all treasury IT resources.
